Colin Graham leads Spencer Stuart’s Industrial Practice in the Americas. He is also a core member of the firm’s CEO, Board and Private Equity practices. Colin has extensive experience leading CEO searches and CEO succession assignments, as well as board mandates for both private equity backed and public companies ranging from the Fortune 100 to the middle market. Colin is a recipient of Spencer Stuart’s prestigious Lou Rieger Quality award for distinctive client service.

He has diverse experience across the industrials ecosystem that includes aerospace, automotive, construction, infrastructure and capital equipment with a particular focus on diversified manufacturing, engineered products and digital solutions, industrial technology and automation. Colin has helped industry leading management teams transform through innovative talent pipeline programs and leadership assessment initiatives involving CEO’s and their direct reports.

Deep leadership advisory experience

  • Before joining Spencer Stuart, Colin was a managing director at a board advisory and executive recruiting firm, leading its industrial technology practice and helping lead the firm’s CEO and private equity practices.
  • Earlier, Colin was a principal at another international search firm as a core member of their Global Industrial Practice.
  • Colin served as an analyst with Pepsi Bottling Group early in his career.

Colin earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Plymouth State University. He remains involved with the university; he has endowed a leadership scholarship for the College of Business Administration and serves as a mentor to the scholarship recipients. He is also a regular contributor to Forbes and is involved with several nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity.
