Janine Ames is a leadership consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Stamford office. An expert in executive assessment and development as well as CEO, CXO and Board succession, Janine works with organizations to optimize the performance, growth and professional satisfaction of their senior executives.

- Janine has more than 30 years of experience in strategy consulting, talent management, executive recruiting and leadership consulting across a variety of industry sectors. She is passionate about partnering with clients to help develop strong leaders and teams with the skills, knowledge and chemistry to work well together.
- She is a leader in helping companies achieve their diversity goals through unbiased assessment and inclusive talent strategies.
- Janine has particular expertise in business and professional services, including leadership of Spencer Stuart’s team in that industry. Before joining Spencer Stuart, Janine worked at McKinsey, first as a strategy consultant and later as the leader of recruiting and professional development for the firm’s North American Technology Practice.
Janine holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Janine is an accredited coach from Meyler Campbell’s Unleashed leadership development program, and she is certified in Spencer Stuart’s Advanced Leadership Profile (ALP) proprietary assessment methodology.
