Spencer Stuart welcomes Laurens Petten to its Industrial Practice

Amsterdam, September 7, 2026 — The newest member of Spencer Stuart’s team in Amsterdam is Laurens Petten, a seasoned consultant and leader with over two decades of experience, particularly in energy and industrials. 

Petten comes to Spencer Stuart from his prior role as an equity partner at Monitor Deloitte in the energy and industrials practice, where he focused on enabling the energy transition and led major organizational transformations for multinational companies. He also spent 14 years with Booz&Co. (now Strategy&, the global strategy consulting business of PwC), advancing to equity partner.

Petten brings specialized experience in C-suite and ExCo-level executive search, organizational transformation and boardroom and leadership advisory. He has a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Delft University of Technology as well as an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
