Spencer Stuart welcomes Christoffer Black to its Financial Services Practice

TOKYO, September 15, 2025 — Today, Spencer Stuart announced that Christoffer Black has joined its Tokyo office as part of the Financial Services Practice. Black has over two decades of experience in leadership search and assessment, with a notable career spanning Europe and Asia and honed expertise in the areas of banking, private equity, real estate and financial officer search.

Black comes to Spencer Stuart from another global executive search firm, where he was a partner in its Tokyo office and regional managing partner of the firm’s corporate officers practice in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. During his tenure with that firm, he helped clients, including global commercial and investment banks, private equity and real estate investment firms — as well as payments and fintech companies — recruit leadership in Japan. Prior to that appointment, Christoffer was a consultant with another leading global search firm based in its Copenhagen office, where he led the financial officers practice.
