Spencer Stuart welcomes Andrew Poon to its Financial Services Practice

Hong Kong, March 23, 2026 — Andrew Poon has joined Spencer Stuart as a core member of the global Financial Services Practice and will be based in Spencer Stuart’s Hong Kong office.

Poon brings to the firm two decades of distinguished experience in financial services, strategic human capital management, executive search and leadership advisory, with specialization in banking, insurance, wealth management and private equity. In his prior role, Poon served as group chief people officer at Ascentium Global Services Holdings Pte. Ltd., where he led the group HR function and played a pivotal role in organizational transformation during a period of rapid mergers and acquisitions. He also built a strong track record as a tenured partner and Asia Pacific financial services practice leader at a leading global executive search firm, specializing in CEO succession, board assessment and senior leadership development.

Poon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in Canada and a post graduate program in management diploma from the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Canada, India, Singapore and the United Kingdom, bringing a great depth of global experience to the role.
