Avitai (Ty) Gold joins Spencer Stuart as leader of global sports practice

NEW YORK, NY, May 1, 2025 — Spencer Stuart is excited to welcome a new consultant to its New York Office. Ty Gold will advise boards, investors, CEOs and C-suite executives on the full spectrum of leadership and governance issues as the leader of Spencer Stuart’s global Sports Practice.

Gold has deep experience in CEO and board work, including search, board effectiveness and CEO succession. He comes from a diverse professional background as a senior in-house attorney and consultant, with a history of providing strategic guidance to boards, investors and senior executives on governance, organizational strategy and leadership matters. Most recently, he established and led the global sports practice for another global leadership advisory and executive search firm, where he was also a member of that firm’s legal, regulatory and compliance practice.

At Spencer Stuart, Gold will work with leagues, teams, media and entertainment platforms, private equity firms, agencies, sports technology companies, multi-property holding organizations and health and wellness brands to navigate critical leadership transitions and build elite executive teams.
