Ty leads Spencer Stuart’s Global Sports Practice, working with clients as a trusted adviser across the full sports ecosystem, including but not limited to leagues, teams, media and entertainment platforms, private equity firms, agencies, sports technology companies, multi-property holding organizations, agencies and health and wellness brands. He helps these organizations navigate critical leadership transitions and build elite executive teams. Ty specializes in applying the discipline and rigor expected in a range of high-performance industries to the fast-evolving world of sports and entertainment.

This experience remains foundational to his understanding of the commercial and regulatory dynamics shaping the global sports industry and provides him with unique perspectives as a trusted adviser on leadership issues.
Ty holds a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a B.A. in history from the University of Michigan. He also studied French language and literature at Sorbonne Université and completed coursework in international business, fine arts and history at The American University of Paris.
