Kristian Kragøe Andresen is a consultant in the Private Equity Practice. He focuses on board and CEO searches, leadership assessments, management insights, pre-deal search and diligence evaluations for private equity-owned companies. He is dedicated to connecting exceptional leaders with owners and organizations where they can drive meaningful impact on both business and society. While his core mandate is Nordic-wide private equity work, Kristian also works more broadly across industries in the Nordic market, drawing on his extensive background in technology and finance.
Discovering and developing leadership for ambitious active owners
- Kristian established and co-founded, a pan-Nordic angel investment network of McKinsey alumni, that invests in early-stage technology companies, and he has experience as a non-executive director in an industrial scale-up company.
- He has more than a decade of experience as a leadership advisor and has been an executive director at another global executive search firm that acquired the local boutique firm where he was a partner in Norway.
- He started his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he spent 7 years in the CF/PE and TMT practices serving clients globally on due diligence, strategy and commercial transformation programs.
Kristian holds an MSc in industrial economics and technology management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, with majors in mathematical finance and telecommunications. He also studied as an exchange student at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, where he specialized in financial engineering and stochastic models.
