Building on more than 20 years of experience leading consumer companies, Jerry Noonan leads searches at the board, CEO and president level across the consumer sector. He is a member of Spencer Stuart‘s global Consumer Practice, which he formerly led, as well as a member of the North American Board and CEO practices. He also directs a broad range of leadership advisory projects for multinational and other clients, in areas including CEO/C-suite succession planning, merger integration, culture transformation and team effectiveness. He also serves as the chief client officer for Spencer Stuart, a global leadership team role focused on client strategy and the firm’s go-to-market activity.

Broad consumer experience

  • Jerry served as managing partner of the firm’s Boston office for six years and recently led the global Consumer Practice for six years. He has been recognized on several occasions for the quality of his work on behalf of the firm’s clients.
  • Jerry began his career at PepsiCo, where he worked in marketing at both Frito-Lay and Pepsi. He moved on to officer-level marketing and general management positions with Nabisco and Polaroid Corporation. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Jerry was the chief marketing officer at
  • Jerry is a vice-chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council, where leads the membership committee and serves as a member of the operating committee. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration.

Jerry earned his B.S. in marketing and communications from Babson College, where he has served as college trustee, executive committee member and chair of the governance committee. In 2016, Jerry was given the school’s Cruickshank Alumni Leadership Award, bestowed annually to one distinguished Babson College alumnus. He also serves as a board trustee and co-chair of the board of overseers for Boston’s Boch Center, which presents the performing arts to the community and brings arts education to underserved youth.
