Gianluca Bianchi is a member of both the Consumer and Technology, Communications & Media practices and leads the firm’s Supply Chain Practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Gianluca is also part of the global core team of the Marketing Officer and serves as a leader of this practice for the Italian market.
Extensive consumer goods experience
- Gianluca joined Spencer Stuart in 2007 with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales and as CEO for multinational consumer goods companies. Prior to joining the firm, he was CEO of T&C Italia, the on-trade sales and distribution company of the Carlsberg Group.
- Gianluca started his career in the marketing department of Panzani-Ponte-Liebig, part of the Danone Group, rising to senior management roles before moving to Johnson & Johnson as marketing director of the sanitary protection division.
- He then held the role of marketing and trade marketing director for Del Monte Foods in Southern Europe before moving to Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine, where he was CEO and president for the Italian market for four years.
Gianluca holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Perugia. In addition to his native Italian, he speaks English fluently.
