Catherine Maguire-Vielle is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Professional Services and Human Resources practices. A C-suite leader with experience as a chief human resources officer and attorney, Catherine focuses on CHRO, legal and professional services searches, with a particular passion for ESG issues. She is based in the Paris office.

- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Catherine was a longtime executive at CWT (formerly known as Carlson Wagonlit Travel), where she spent five years as a CHRO and member of the executive leadership team,. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president and assistant general counsel.
- Catherine is a recognized advocate for diversity and inclusion in the travel industry. She chaired CWT’s task force on DE&I and has served as a member of WiHTL, a community devoted to increasing diversity and inclusion across the hospitality, travel and leisure industry and to partnering in the fight against human trafficking.
- Before CWT, Catherine was a lawyer in private practice at the international law firm Clifford Chance, where she specialized in private equity deals as a member of the firm’s M&A practice.
Catherine earned her law degree from the University of Sheffield and her LPC (Professional Legal Certification) from the College of Law in York, and is qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales. She is a dual English and Irish citizen and has lived in France since 2004.
