Benedicta de Courcel is a London-based consultant with fifteen years of experience in executive search and leadership advisory. She works with clients across Europe and is a member of Spencer Stuart’s dedicated Private Equity Practice. Benedicta works across a number of sectors, with a particular focus on technology, media, telecommunications, services and financial services. Benedicta is also a defence and defence technology specialist for both private equity-backed and non-private equity-backed businesses.
She advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies on talent strategy to accelerate value creation throughout the entire investment life cycle. This includes due diligence support. Benedicta leads board, chair, CEO and C-suite level searches. She works on complex board and leadership team builds, partnering closely with management teams and private equity professionals. Benedicta also specialises in the assessment and development of leaders in private equity portfolio companies and aligning talent with value creation plans.

- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Benedicta worked for a leading international executive search firm where she was a member of the investment management practice partnering with both traditional and alternative asset managers. She worked closely with private equity clients across Europe who wanted to strengthen their investment, operating partner, ESG and investor relations teams.
- Benedicta’s earlier career was spent at another global talent advisory firm where she was part of the financial services practice working across asset management, wealth management, insurance and investment banking.
Benedicta graduated from The University of Edinburgh with an MA (Hons) in International Relations and an MSc in EU Law and Politics. She also holds a Hogan Assessments Certification. A French and British national, she is fluent in English and French.
