Andrea Mohnsame is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Consulting team. She brings deep experience in leadership diagnostics, development and cultural transformation to her work with clients around the world. For 20 years, Andrea has helped to design and lead a range of complex human resources (HR) organizations with a focus on selecting the right leaders who can create high-performing cultures.
An expert in talent and organizational culture
- Throughout her career advising on talent, organizational culture and restructurings, Andrea has worked with a vast array of organizations, spanning multinational, medium-sized, family-owned and private equity entities. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, she served as interim head of HR and deputy to the CEO for Flensburger Schiffbaugesellschaft in Northern Germany, where she led restructuring and transformation efforts and advised on leadership style.
- Earlier, Andrea was managing director and executive vice president of HR at BSN Medical in Hamburg, where she was responsible for the global HR department. She also held senior HR leadership roles with Brose and Drägerwerk. In addition, Andrea led her own consultancy focused on HR management tools, coaching, and leadership and organizational development.
- She began her career at Airbus, where led the personal and organizational development department at Airbus Deutschland and implemented several tools to improve leadership development and selection, succession planning and training. Later she was an HR business partner for the first and largest transnational business unit at Airbus.
Andrea received a degree in psychology and economics from the University of Hamburg. She is a certified practitioner in client-centered logotherapy and existential analysis and holds a diploma as qualified industrial clerk (Industriekauffrau). She is a native German speaker, is fluent in English and has working knowledge of French.
