Andrea is the managing director of Spencer Stuart Germany and Austria. She works across Europe in the healthcare and medtech sectors, with a focus on medtech and health services. Leveraging her background and broad experience, she is also active in aerospace industries, and human resources.
With empathy and business acumen, Andrea strives to develop organizations and careers. Andrea has over 20 years of experience as chief human resources officer, with a track record of developing and advising leaders, organizations and cultures in international environments, large corporations, family-owned companies and private equity. She advises boards, CEOs and executive teams on executive recruiting, succession planning and leadership development, and is highly respected for her ability to assess leaders and organizational needs.
Industry and leadership experience
- Prior to re-joining Spencer Stuart, Andrea was the CHRO of the Bauer Media Group, driving their global digital and cultural transformation. Previously, she was part of Spencer Stuart’s LAS team in Munich.
- Before that, Andrea spent many years of her professional life as the CHRO of Dräger, Brose and BSN Medical.
- Earlier in her career, she was leading the Talent & Organizational Development at Airbus Deutschland and became a senior HR business partner for the largest transnational business unit at Airbus SAS.
Andrea holds a diploma from the University of Hamburg in economics and psychology, focusing on organization, management and human resources and is a qualified advisor, certified by the Deutsche Börse AG. She is a native German speaker, is fluent in English and has working knowledge of French.
