Spencer Stuart welcomes Sarah Kleinman as a member of the firm’s Leadership Advisory Services

Washington, D.C., August 31, 2026 — Spencer Stuart welcomes Sarah Kleinman as a member of its Leadership Advisory Services in the Washington, D.C. office, where she will bring exceptional expertise as an organizational strategy leader. Over the course of her career, Kleinman has operated across consulting, executive leadership and entrepreneurial settings, giving her a distinctive perspective on the gap between strategy development and organizational execution.

She most recently spent a decade at McKinsey & Company, where she made partner quickly while advising senior executives and boards on strategy, organization design, and performance and culture transformation. Kleinman also has a background as president of a political non-profit and chief strategy officer of the International Rescue Committee, overseeing strategic planning, complex mission-driven initiatives and risk reduction while aligning leadership systems with organizational goals.

Kleinman is a Rhodes Scholar with a Ph.D./D.Phil. and M.Phil. in international relations from Oxford University. She also earned an M.A. in sociology from Stanford University, receiving the Dornbusch Award for Outstanding Graduate, and a B.A. in history, graduating with high honors and Phi Beta Kappa.
