Spencer Stuart welcomes David Holl and Simon Kent to its Private Equity Practice

New York and Minneapolis, April 20, 2026 — Spencer Stuart is excited to welcome two new consultants to its U.S. Private Equity Practice. David Holl has joined the firm’s Minneapolis/St. Paul office, and Simon Kent has joined the New York office. Holl and Kent bring rich experience to the practice, strengthening the depth of expertise Spencer Stuart offers private equity sponsors from pre-deal to exit.

With experience across asset management as well as global banking and markets, Holl brings a broad perspective to the leadership challenges inherent in investment and value creation. Over the course of his career, he has advised on hundreds of complex engagements, supporting transactions representing tens to hundreds of billions of dollars invested across public and private markets. Holl brings a broad perspective to the leadership challenges inherent in investment and value creation. Known for his trusted counsel on management team assessment, he’ll focus on advising global investment firms on transaction‑related leadership decisions.

Kent will partner with boards and portfolio company management teams to enhance leadership, driving value creation across the technology, media, telecommunications and services sectors. In previous roles, he was a partner of a global executive search and leadership advisory firm, supporting the launch of that firm’s private equity practice working with large and mid-market funds on software and services investments. He also helped launch that firm’s New York office.
