Tatia Torrey is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s global Consumer and Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods Practices. Tatia has worked extensively advising senior executives at leading brands in the retail and consumer markets. She has a track record in talent recruitment, growing sales, transforming organizational culture and finding operational efficiencies.
Strategic retail and consumer expertise
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Tatia was president and chief client officer for Havas, a global networked advertising agency, where she focused on executive-level client relationships across the agency’s retail and consumer markets. She was responsible for the business operations, including talent recruitment, retention and development.
- Prior to Havas, Tatia was managing director of an independent digital agency (now part of Accenture Interactive), where she worked with Fortune 500 retail and consumer clients to develop strategies to drive value in the evolving online landscape.
- Earlier in her career, Tatia was vice president of business development and general manager for a retail advertising and marketing firm.
Tatia earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and an M.Ed. in vocational counseling from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and She Runs It, an organization focused on promoting women leaders in marketing, media and tech. Tatia has also served as a CEO mentor for the Girls Scouts.
