A core member of Spencer Stuart’s global Industrial Practice, Steven is a valued C-suite sparring partner who advises clients on leadership issues, aligning strategic direction with leadership requirements both at a team and individual level, and helping boards and leadership teams increase their diversity. He also does extensive work on ESG (environmental, social, governance) and energy transition efforts, advising leaders on how to meet their sustainability and decarbonization goals.
Steven’s more than 25 years industry experience includes senior leadership positions covering strategy, marketing and business development in energy and logistics. He has worked across the globe and speaks several languages, including English, Dutch, Spanish, German, French and Russian.

Education
Steven received an Msc in business economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and an Executive MBA from International Institute for Management Development (IMD) Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
