Salma Ali is based in our London office and is a member of our Human Resources Practice. She is a seasoned corporate HR leader with a track record of making big change happen quickly in FTSE 100 companies. Salma has led transformational programs in talent management, culture, leadership development and employee experience in large global companies spanning telecommunications, aerospace and pharma.
Corporate HR leadership support across diverse industries and countries
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Salma worked closely with the CHRO and CEO of Novo Nordisk, the world’s largest insulin producer, helping centralize and professionalize the company’s people and organization function to support diversification and growth.
- Her consulting career has included a decade as senior engagement manager at the research and HR consultancy, Gallup, where she led large-scale, multi-year HR and customer programs for clients.
- Salma has also served as the HR director, talent and leadership development for GKN, a leading supplier in the aviation and automotive industries.
Salma holds a BSc degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics. She has lived in London, Dubai and Copenhagen and is fluent in English and Urdu.
