Based in Spencer Stuart’s Boston office, Ryan draws on more than two decades of strategic and management experience with leading retailers and manufacturers.
Extensive marketing and e-commerce experience
- Some of Ryan’s recent clients include global brands in the marketing technology, retail and consumer packaged goods industries as well as both large and private equity-backed software providers seeking marketing leadership to transform their brand and go-to-market capabilities.
- Prior to executive search, Ryan led the global eBusiness strategy for Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he led the transformation of the business toward online and mobile engagement. Previously, he led e-commerce and digital strategy at Bose Corporation, heading up the direct online business, pure-play retailers and the development of online audio products.
- Ryan has deep leadership experience in industries such as mass retail, supply chain, healthcare and industrial.
A native of Canada, Ryan is a graduate of Princeton University with a degree in economics. He serves on the advisory board of AcuRite, a subsidiary of Chaney Instrument.
