Ricardo has 25 years of experience in operating roles including retail banking and enterprise software as well as management consulting experience with the Boston Consulting Group, having worked with industrial and energy clients in Europe, the U.S. and Latin America.
With deep expertise in retail banking, Ricardo was previously the Santander Group global head for small business banking tech platforms, while serving as a board member at Santander Portugal. Ricardo specializes as an advisor in board effectiveness, CEO succession and C-level executive search.

- He is a two-time entrepreneur, having launched two tech-driven startups.
Ricardo earned his degree in industrial engineering from Técnico Lisbon and an M.B.A. from INSEAD. A former basketball player, he played for Portugal on the full national team and for Benfica.
