Randy Kelley serves as a member of the firm’s Board Services and Financial Officer practices. He joined Spencer Stuart in 1995 and managed the firm’s Dallas office for five years. Randy also led Spencer Stuart’s Business & Professional Services Practice for North America, recruiting senior-level professionals for management consulting, systems integration, transaction processing and outsourcing firms, as well as private equity firms with significant portfolio investments in these sectors.

- Randy has completed more than 600 financial officer searches including CFOs, controllers, treasurers, and functional heads of tax, internal audit, planning & analysis, and corporate development.
- A Certified Public Accountant, Randy has contributed to several leading publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Today’s CPA, and The Dallas Business Journal. He also chairs Spencer Stuart’s worldwide audit committee.
- Randy earned a B.B.A. in accounting from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Earlier in his career, he worked on the audit and consulting staffs of two leading international accounting firms.
Randy was formerly a partner with McKinsey & Company, where he consulted with the top management of leading companies on a broad a range of strategy, operations and organizational issues. During his 10 years at McKinsey, he served clients in the technology, retail, consumer goods and services, and healthcare sectors. He was also active in recruiting associates and analysts to the firm’s rapidly growing offices in the Southwest.
