Peter Roberts is a consultant in the Chicago office of Spencer Stuart. A member of the Financial Services, Real Estate, Financial Officer, and Board practices, Peter focuses on C-level and senior executive positions as well as board roles. He brings to his client work deep experience in growing businesses, attracting and developing executive talent, developing and implementing succession plans and helping businesses build healthy corporate cultures. Wealth of real estate knowledge
- Peter joined Spencer Stuart after more than 20 years with the global real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle, most recently as the firm’s chief strategy officer. Previously, he served in a variety of roles with the company, including global chief operating officer and global chief financial officer.
- Peter also spent a decade as CEO of the Americas at Jones Lang LaSalle. During that time the business grew six-fold, to revenues of nearly $2 billion, through an equal mix of organic growth and mergers and acquisitions.
- Peter began his career as an assistant treasurer in the aerospace and defense contractor unit of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York.
Peter graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with an A.B. with distinction in Economics. He also earned his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. Peter is a member of ULI and the Economic Club of Chicago, and he serves on the board of trustees of the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and the Latin School of Chicago. He previously served on the board of trustees of the Ravinia Festival and on the Real Estate Advisory Committee at Dartmouth College.
