Driving transformation and value creation across financial services
- In his last role as country manager Italy at doValue (an Italian listed credit management leader), Mirko directed the Italian business and operations, following a large acquisition, leading over 1,200 employees with P&L responsibility for about 300 million euros in revenue.
- As CEO at Gardant, he orchestrated the group’s full organizational structure post-demerger from Credito Fondiario, led its business, developed partnerships with Italian leading banks and successfully executed its sale to doValue.
- At Credito Fondiario, in an executive leadership and partnership role, Mirko drove the turnaround, relaunch and infrastructure development of the firm alongside US fund Elliott.
- Before that, for many years, as managing director at Citi, he advised leading European financial institutions on key strategic M&A, ECM and DCM transactions.
Mirko graduated cum laude with an MSc in monetary economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
