Mina Ames is a core member of our EMEA Digital & Technology Officer Practice with deep expertise in financial services. She is passionate about how technology, digital, data and analytics have transformed every part of our society. As a result, authentic leadership's importance in navigating a complex and evolving global landscape has become a leadership imperative to guide organisations through the turmoil. In addition to fintech, technology and financial services, Mina’s specialty areas of focus include data and analytics, digital transformation/acceleration, retail and commercial banking and payments along with CEO succession and non-executive director roles. She’s also well-versed in advising chairs and CEOs on group executive team builds and functional technology team builds.

- Mina brings a wealth of international experience across financial services and fintech ecosystems. With her broad international experience, she can calibrate candidates across geographies and cultures.
- Mina’s most recent role was as a managing partner at a boutique executive recruitment firm based in New York and London. Before that, she co-led a global executive search firm’s fintech practice as well as on board and CEO work at another global executive search firm’s Sydney office.
- Before moving into search, she held several commercial roles at AMEX, MasterCard and Citi, where she was instrumental in driving their partnership growth strategy as head of partnerships.
Mina has an M.B.A. from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) in Australia and an B.A. (Joint Honors) in economics and geography from the University of Portsmouth. She has lived in the U.S., Australia/New Zealand, Singapore and the UK.
