Massimo Di Dia, based in Zurich, leads Spencer Stuart’s Marketing and Sales Officer Practice across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is a consultant in the global Consumer Practice. He brings two decades of international leadership experience with blue chip consumer goods to his work with clients. In these times of dynamic industry change and disruption, he draws on his deep industry and consulting experience to advise clients on transformation through talent and organizational capability building, leadership development and talent strategy. A track record of transformative leadership in the consumer industry

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Massimo was the chief strategy officer of Carlsberg Group and a member of its leadership team. He orchestrated and implemented the group’s “Sail ’22” value creation strategy. During his tenure, he was also responsible for the group’s international premium brands division, where he successfully accelerated the global expansion of the Carlsberg, Tuborg, Somersby, Kronenbourg 1664 and Grimbergen brands.
  • Throughout his career, Massimo has held senior global, regional and national roles in commercial operations, marketing and corporate strategy with a variety of leading consumer goods organizations, including Johnson & Johnson, Bahlsen and Bally Shoes.
  • Massimo has significant experience leading transformation and assessing the talent and organizational capabilities needed to execute new strategies. He has a proven track record of delivering strong top- and bottom-line results as well as driving successful turnarounds of troubled businesses.

Massimo earned a Global Executive M.B.A. from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Northwestern Switzerland. He is fluent in English, German, French and Italian.
