Based in New York, Marco is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Board, Financial Officer, Financial Services and Private Equity practices. He brings more than 15 years of experience in investment banking to the firm, including restructuring, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and project finance across a variety of industries. Marco has lived in the U.S. and the U.K., working across multiple geographies.
Extensive background in investment banking
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Marco was a managing director in the restructuring and debt advisory group at Evercore, a global investment banking advisory firm. In this role, he advised corporate clients on out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations and distressed financings.
- Previously, Marco was an executive director in the restructuring group at Goldman Sachs in London. Before that, he was a senior vice president in the financial restructuring group at Houlihan Lokey in London.
- Marco began his investment banking career as an analyst at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in New York.
Marco earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Italy and a native speaker of Italian and English, and is fluent in French and conversational in German.
