Kim McKesson leads Spencer Stuart’s North American operations and is also a member of the firm’s global Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods, Consumer and Private Equity practices. Kim helps clients define their strategic leadership needs, whether they are high-growth or mature businesses, and find the right leaders for their business context. She also leads in-depth assessments of management teams. Distinctive efforts on behalf of their clients have earned Kim and her team Spencer Stuart’s Lou Rieger Quality Award.
Firsthand retail leadership experience
- Kim supports clients’ strategic needs by helping them find the right leaders to drive both high-growth and mature businesses. She has partnered with a wide range of clients, from companies with revenues of less than $100 million to the world’s largest global enterprises.
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Kim was the executive vice president and chief marketing and merchandising officer for Smith & Hawken, a multichannel specialty retailer of aspirational outdoor living and gardening products.
- Kim also enjoyed a nearly 20-year career at The Home Depot, which included several senior leadership roles in marketing and merchandising, and culminated in her role as senior vice president of store merchandising for the home improvement giant.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Pepperdine University.
