Kim McKesson leads the strategy and execution of firm activities as head of North America for Spencer Stuart. Previously, Kim led the firm’s global Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods Practice. In addition to her firm’s leadership responsibilities, Kim advises CEOs and boards of directors on their most critical leadership and governance challenges. Her distinctive efforts on behalf of clients have earned Kim and her team Spencer Stuart’s prestigious Lou Rieger Quality Award, conferred annually to the firm’s leading client satisfaction teams.

Proven leadership experience

  • Kim is uniquely qualified to leverage her extensive 20-plus year corporate executive experience with over a decade of advising clients with their most challenging business, talent and leadership needs.
  • Before joining Spencer Stuart, Kim was the executive vice president and chief marketing and merchandising officer for Smith & Hawken, a multichannel outdoor living specialty retailer.
  • Kim also enjoyed over 19 years at The Home Depot, which included several senior leadership roles in marketing and merchandising, and culminated in her role as senior vice president of store merchandising for the home improvement giant.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, summa cum laude, from Pepperdine University.
