Katherine Moos has been with Spencer Stuart for 22 years, focusing on chair, non-executive director and CEO appointments. Katherine has also conducted board effectiveness assessments in every sector including energy, industrial, logistics, aerospace, consumer, financial services, life sciences and technology for multinational companies headquartered in twelve European countries, the Middle East and in the U.S. She is approved as a Skilled Person to carry out regulatory reviews in accordance with Section 166 Financial Services and Markets Act and has conducted governance reviews of financial institutions at the instigation of both European and U.S. regulators.
Professional experience
- Katherine is a former member of the firm’s audit and risk oversight committee and was previously head of the Financial Services Practice in the UK.
- At London Business School, Katherine leads the Spencer Stuart Directors’ Forum Programme on best practices in corporate governance. She also oversees the Spencer Stuart Sloan Scholarship Programme for Women at London Business School.
- Prior to Spencer Stuart, Katherine was a strategy consultant with LEK Consulting. Katherine was then CEO of a retail business and subsequently founder/CEO of a company in the leisure industry.
Katherine earned her L.L.B. in English law and German law from Kings College, London, and holds a diploma in German law from the Universität Passau, Germany. She is fluent in English, French and German.
