Katherine Lee is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s New York office and a member of the global Consumer and Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods practices. Katherine specializes in CEO, COO and senior-level executive searches for marketing-driven and customer-focused companies, with a concentration on image-oriented consumer goods and services businesses. She works for established and emerging consumer, retail and lifestyle businesses developing high-performance teams and enabling new growth agendas. She partners closely with private, public and private equity-back boards and senior executives in leadership recruitment and development.

Experienced C-suite search partner for consumer, retail and lifestyle brands

  • Before joining Spencer Stuart, Katherine was a senior client partner with another international executive search firm where she spent eleven years focusing on general management, chief commercial officer, and chief marketing officer searches with public and privately-held companies. She was a member of the firm’s marketing officers and digital practices.
  • Prior to that, Katherine was a marketing consultant for Mercer, a global adviser on human resources and related financial services.
  • She spent several years with UBS, in marketing and event management roles focusing on institutional and retail clients. Earlier in her career, Katherine focused on multi-platform launches and experiences at the Walt Disney Internet Group.

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from UCLA, and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Benjamin Franklin Fellow. She speaks fluent French and lectured for two years at the University of Paris.
