Based in Dublin, he advises boards and CEOs on senior leadership and CEO appointments across technology, financial services, industrial and public sector organisations, bringing a highly relationship driven, outcome focused approach to every assignment.

- John joined Spencer Stuart following the firm’s 2019 acquisition of MERC Partners, where he developed deep experience delivering senior executive search assignments in the Irish market.
- With more than a decade of executive search experience, John leads complex senior appointments where stakeholder alignment, discretion and long term leadership impact are critical. He is recognized by clients for his partnership mindset, rigour and trusted counsel throughout the search process.
- John’s background includes helping to found and build Index Partners, MERC Partners’ interim executive business, experience that continues to inform his commercial acumen and client centric approach at Spencer Stuart.
- He began his career in commercial, sales and marketing roles, including with a privately owned computer and mobile communications provider, experience that underpins his commercial insight and pragmatic advisory style.
John is a graduate of the University of Limerick, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business studies. He also earned an M.B.A. from University College Dublin.
