John has spent more than 10 years as a leader in a variety of roles at MERC Partners, the leading Irish executive search firm that was acquired by Spencer Stuart in 2019. Most recently, he has led senior executive search assignments across a variety of industry sectors and served as a member of MERC Partners’ Dublin-based leadership team. Previously, he helped found and build Index Partners, MERC Partners’ interim executive business.

John began his career in a variety of sales, marketing and commercial positions, including with a privately owned computer and mobile communications provider.
John is a graduate of the University of Limerick, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business studies. He also earned an MBA from University College Dublin.
