Gülven Aytekin is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Türkiye office, based in Istanbul. She has been also leading the EMEA Marketing, Sales and Communications Practice since 2024. She is a core member of the global Consumer Practice as well as Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice.
Gülven provides full range of leadership advisory support to multinational and prestigious local clients with a focus on the consumer goods, retail, technology, media and telecommunications sectors.
Leadership advisory and executive search expertise
- Gülven conducts senior-level executive search and leadership advisory assignments in Türkiye and the surrounding Turkish Republics region, and she plays a critical role in international assignments for consumer clients that have operations in Türkiye, Turkish Republics and CIS.
- Gülven’s 20-plus years’ experience in executive search includes work with organizations ranging from large multinationals to family-owned companies. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Gülven was a partner at another international executive search firm, where she was co-leader of the global consumer & retail practice group. Her clients included consumer goods, retail, industrial, technology, media and telecommunications companies, as well as family-owned businesses in diverse sectors.
- Gülven served as an independent board member for a publicly traded international fast-moving consumer goods company. She is also a founding member of PWN Turkey (Professional Women's Network Turkey).
Gülven holds a bachelor’s degree in guidance and psychological counseling from Boğaziçi University. She later also obtained her M.B.A. from Yeditepe University. She has completed executive training programs at IMD University. A native Turkish speaker, she is also fluent in English.
