Gowri Cavale is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services practice. Known for strong business and financial acumen and for leading talent and development programs across large and complex enterprises, Gowri brings more than 20 years of experience as an expert and advisor on workforce effectiveness, organizational transformation and leadership development. Gowri’s work focuses on executive assessments, leadership development and executive coaching. She is based in New York.

- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Gowri spent a decade as a learning strategist on PwC’s in-house learning and development team. Most recently, Gowri served as that firm’s leadership development strategy leader, where she led all leadership and professional skills development across the enterprise and coached leaders at the individual, group and team levels.
- Previously at PwC, Gowri held several client-facing roles as a member of the audit practice and later as a consultant, where she advised Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 clients on large-scale change management and people solutions. Her work covered many sectors, including financial services, technology, healthcare, energy, retail and consumer, media, professional services and the public sector.
Gowri has lived and worked in London, Paris, New York and Bangalore. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in international management and French from the University of Bath and is a UK chartered accountant. Gowri earned her executive coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Coaching and is accredited with the International Coaching Federation. She is credentialed in team coaching through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Gowri is active in her community and devotes time to coaching social impact women leaders, teaching English in Asia and serving on the foundation board of her alma mater.
