Desley Khew is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Singapore office and brings more than 18 years of consulting experience in leadership assessment and development, executive coaching, top team effectiveness and culture transformation. Desley advises clients across a range of industries and serves as executive coach to senior leaders at a number of Fortune 500 companies across Asia Pacific. She has led organisation-wide initiatives to accelerate leaders to senior positions, build robust leadership pipelines, and has helped companies establish strategies and solutions for the advancement of women leaders. She has also played a central role in several C-suite assessment and selection assignments including CEO succession.

Expert in coaching, leadership development, talent assessment

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Desley spent 15 years with a global leadership development consultancy in Asia, most recently as its managing consultant responsible for the Singapore and Malaysia markets. She was also the program director for the Asian chapter of the firm’s immersive leadership institute.
  • Previously, Desley was in human resources with Singapore Airlines leading talent performance, and before that, a consultant at a leading international human resources consulting firm as a leadership and communications specialist.

Desley graduated with a B.A. from the University of Westminster with first-class honours. And graduated with a MSc. in Organisational and Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science with distinction. She is certified in a variety of assessment tools including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Hogan suite of assessments (HPI, HDS and MVPI), and the Occupational Personality Questionnaire. She is also a certified Linkage, Inc. Master Trainer and Coach. In addition, she is a contributing author to Best Practices for Succession Planning, published by Pfeiffer. Desley is fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin.
