Deepak Veeraraghavan is a seasoned strategy leader with nearly two decades of consulting and advisory experience, including more than 10 years focused on the life sciences and biopharma sectors. He has built a distinguished career as a senior thought partner to global pharmaceutical executive teams, R&D leaders and commercial executives across global markets. As a consultant in the Healthcare Practice, Deepak has a strong grounding in decision sciences, often working closely with senior stakeholders, CEOs and executive committees. Having spent much of his career helping leaders navigate high-stakes decisions under uncertainty, Deepak brings a distinctive perspective on the intersection of business strategy, decision-making and leadership.
Strategic thinker driving healthcare talent alignment
- Deepak served as a partner at Blue Matter Consulting in London, where he led the portfolio strategy and decision sciences capability, advising leadership teams in Europe and the U.S. on complex asset development, pipeline prioritization and sequencing strategies across key therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology and neuroscience.
- He spent over a decade at Strategic Decisions Group, joining as a consultant and ultimately leading the firm’s global life sciences practice and its European consulting business, where he held P&L responsibility.
- Deepak started his consulting career at KPMG in 2006, where he worked with senior leaders and gained a strong grounding in structured problem-solving and client service.
Deepak holds an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He also earned a Certificate of Specialization in Leadership & Management from Harvard Business School.
