Dana Allen is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Dallas office and works with leading organizations as a member of the Consumer, Hospitality & Leisure, and Marketing Officer practices. An experienced search consultant, Dana helps clients recruit CEOs, presidents, general managers and senior functional executives in marketing, sales, innovation, analytics and design.
A breadth of consumer experience
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Dana was a search consultant at another leading international search firm, where he focused on recruiting leaders such as CEOs, presidents and other senior executives as a member of the consumer products and services, hospitality and leisure and digital practices.
Previously, Dana worked as senior director of marketing for PepsiCo. At PepsiCo, he worked in a variety of brand, innovation and customer roles, including working on the Doritos, Cheetos and Tostitos brands. He also worked with key customers, including Walmart and food-service channels, including working on the launch of Doritos Locos Tacos at Taco Bell in 2012, driving unprecedented traffic, transaction and same-store-sales improvements.
Prior to PepsiCo, Dana worked for Nestle and for Corporate Express in brand management and sales management roles.
Dana earned his MBA from the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Santa Clara University. He is the co-founder of Ark of the Rainbow, a school and community impact nonprofit in an impoverished area of Bangalore, India, that serves 200 students and their families through education, health services and community development.
