Clare has extensive experience working on CEO, CFO, and other executive searches for leading multinational companies, Chinese private conglomerates, private equity funds and other professional services firms. She is based in Hong Kong, with a focus on the Greater China and Pan-Asia regions.

- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Clare was a principal consultant at another global executive search firm. She was a core member of the firm’s private equity, CFO and services practices.
- Previously, Clare was CFO and executive director for a dual-listed real estate development company in Hong Kong and Singapore, with extensive operations throughout China. She led the public listing of the company on the Hong Kong exchange.
- Her earlier career includes strategy consulting at Bain & Co. Los Angeles and Hong Kong offices and auditing at Ernst & Young Washington DC office.
Clare holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Accounting degree from the College of William and Mary. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. A native of China who also spent many years living in the United States and Hong Kong, Clare is a native Mandarin speaker and also fluent in English.
