Becky Relic has more than 30 years of experience in the public policy arena - across government, corporate and association sectors, including nearly a decade in government service on Capitol Hill as well as in the executive branch at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Based in Washington, D.C., Becky is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Legal, Compliance & Government Affairs Practice. With a wholistic knowledge and understanding of government affairs, Becky also partners closely with the firm’s Education, Nonprofit & Government and Chief Communications Officer practices.
Government affairs and policy expert with practical insight into the private sector
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Becky was the staff director for the U.S. House of Representatives Budget Committee, where she led all legislative, policy and communications activities.
- Previously, Becky held several senior roles in government affairs for large consumer facing brand companies including McDonald’s Corporation, eBay/PayPal and Live Nation Entertainment.
- Becky began her career working in the personal office of a Member of Congress.
Committed to the community in which she lives and works, Becky has served on the vestry of her church and is an active supporter of organizations dedicated to underserved populations. Becky earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from DePauw University, where she has served on both the Alumni Board and Board of Visitors, receiving the Young Alumni Award in 2005.
