Andy Demesier is a consultant in the Technology Officer Practice based in the New York office. Andy brings more than 15 years of experience in driving operational efficiencies through enterprise data sales, with particular expertise in data and analytics, cloud computing, ERP and e-commerce. Known for strong client relationships and recognized for his team leadership and development, Andy’s comprehensive knowledge has helped build key partnerships within the consumer, finance, healthcare, industrial, software and services sectors. He is a trusted partner to clients facing a variety of critical leadership issues including digital transformation, operational effectiveness, scaling for growth, culture change and diversity.

  • Andy has conducted chief information officer, chief data officer, chief digital officer and chief technology officer searches across a variety of industries. More specifically, Andy has worked to find senior technologists for leading IoT, academia, consumer, finance, healthcare, industrial, retail and software sectors.
  • He has employed his technology knowledge and strong understanding of leadership on engagements for numerous Fortune 500 clients and private equity firms. He has recruited and assessed C-level and VP level leaders across IT, infrastructure, analytics, Ai/ML, data, digital and engineering.
  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Andy spent 16 years at Bloomberg L.P. in a series of sales and leadership roles. Most recently, he was the enterprise data sales development team leader, where he hired, trained and coached sales development representatives within enterprise data sales.

Andy earned a B.S. degree in biology from Rutgers University.
