Based in Atlanta, Amey Kulkarni is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Private Equity and Leadership Advisory Services practice. He advises clients on CEO and C-suite assessment and development, management team effectiveness and organizational factors. Amey works with financial sponsors to mitigate risk and accelerate value creation through leadership, both pre-deal and post-close. He helps increase the probability of successfully executing the value creation plan (VCP) by developing a corresponding human capital program (HCP) which captures the totality of talent levers that maximize portfolio company performance. Amey also has experience in mergers and acquisitions, integrations and carve-outs.

Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he was a senior consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s human capital practice, where he led strategic change projects for large-scale organizational transformations and people analytics.

Previously, Amey was an organizational effectiveness consultant with The Home Depot and UPS where he specialized in talent management and employee engagement.
Amey is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a B.S. in psychology and an M.S. and Ph.D. in behavioral and brain sciences. His graduate school research focused on peak performance at work using qualitative and quantitative psychometric analyses.
