Sohil Patel is a member of Spencer Stuart’s global Private Equity and Industrial Services practices. Based in New York, Sohil advises private equity funds and their portfolio companies on due diligence and talent strategy across the entire investment life cycle. Based on his experience in private equity, management consulting and business operations, Sohil works as a strategic advisor and partner to funds as they explore optimal ways to deploy capital and grow shareholder value.
Deals consulting and pre-deal support experience
- Sohil works with private equity clients across the industrials and services space and provides pre-deal support, including due-diligence support, identifying, assessing and recruiting the right leadership to accelerate value creation
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Sohil was a director at an executive search and advisory firm focused on private equity investor and management teams. He served as leader of the firm’s North American industrials and business services practice.
- Earlier in his career, Sohil was a consultant in PwC’s deal strategy practice. Previously, he owned and operated a federally accredited vocational school.
Sohil earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and entrepreneurship from Boston University and his MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management.
