Miranda Pode is Spencer Stuart’s chief client officer and was previously co-leader of the advisory services globally. She is a trusted adviser to boards, CEOs and other C-suite leaders, especially in the area of transformational leadership and diversity and inclusion, applying both her consulting expertise and her leadership experience in senior strategy, commercial management and marketing roles for FTSE 100 organizations. Miranda is also a skilled executive coach and is recognized for her work in helping senior leaders fulfill their potential.

Deep leadership advisory experience

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Miranda co-led the global financial services practice for a global executive search and leadership firm, focusing on banking, insurance and consumer finance. She worked with a broad range of organizations and leaders – including CEOs, operational and risk leaders, chief marketing officers and chief human resource officers – as they worked to transform their institutions for a market defined by customer centricity. Miranda also was part of the firm’s board consulting, CEO and human resources practices, and led the London office.
  • Earlier, Miranda was a member of the executive committee of Marks & Spencer’s food division, running the marketing and strategy function as well as the direct food businesses.
  • Miranda also held various roles at Sainsbury’s, including leading investor relations, strategy and the petrol-retailing operations. She began her career as an investor relations consultant in Boston and London, advising U.S. companies seeking access to European equity markets.

Miranda earned a bachelor’s degree (with honors) in American Studies from Nottingham University, a master’s degree in arts in American Studies from Boston College and a master’s degree in business administration from London Business School.
