Jean Chiswick leads Spencer Stuart’s Financial Officer Practice across Asia Pacific, and is also a consultant in the firm’s Corporate Officer, Consumer & Financial Services practices. Based in Sydney, she brings more than 15 years’ experience in leadership assessment and succession. Specializing in CFO succession, Jean also focuses on broader finance leadership and technical specialist roles, as well as CRO, audit, compliance and controls positions in publicly traded companies, multinational corporations, private equity and privately owned organizations across a diverse range of industry sectors.

Extensive cross-border search and talent advisory experience

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Jean was talent acquisition manager for a multinational corporation, Philips Limited. She was responsible for talent acquisition strategy and operations across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Jean was previously the research director for Spencer Stuart’s Australian business and spent two years living and working in Singapore.
  • Earlier in her career, Jean spent four years at a global executive search firm, as a managing associate within the financial services and government practice, working with major banks, insurance organizations and government/education departments.
  • She also brings extensive in-house talent management experience, having worked onsite at Diageo, American Express and AAPT.

Jean earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New South Wales.
