Based in Los Angeles, Heidi Hendrix is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Human Resources Practice. She has more than 20 years of strategic human resources experience, with a focus on organizational and leadership development and change. Heidi has worked in a variety of sectors, including financial services, aerospace technology and consulting.
Extensive HR leadership experience
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Heidi was the top human resources executive for Northrop Grumman’s Aerospace Systems division. In this role, she was responsible for all aspects of human resources for the rapidly growing $10 billion sector. She oversaw functions including talent acquisition, organizational and leadership development, compensation, succession planning, employee relations, engagement and diversity.
Previously, Heidi spent 15 year at Bank of America in a variety of human resources leadership roles across the consumer banking, risk management and mortgage businesses. While there, she worked on major mergers and led key HR-related integration activities, including organizational design, talent assessment and selection, and culture integration.
Heidi began her career with Andersen Consulting’s change management practice, where she partnered with clients on business transformation and technology implementation.
Throughout her career, Heidi has been active in company diversity and women’s mentoring programs and has worked for positive change in her community. She currently serves on the boards of two independent schools in Santa Monica, California. Heidi earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and holds a double major in journalism and organizational/interpersonal communication studies. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
