Carolyn Wethington is a core member of Spencer Stuart’s Professional & Technology Services, Financial Services, Private Equity and Strategy Officer practices. She brings over fifteen years of client service to her role at Spencer Stuart.
Based in Washington, D.C., Carolyn is focused on recruiting senior executives and partners for major consulting firms as well as Chief Strategy Officers across sectors with a concentration in financial services. She has substantial search experience across the professional services industry from the leading global consulting organizations to small boutique firms, including strategy, advisory, operations and supply chain, transaction services, turnaround and restructuring, human capital, and information technology topics.

- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Carolyn was a consultant with L.E.K. Consulting, where she worked with corporate and private equity clients across several industries, including retail, life sciences, healthcare, education, technology, media, building products and insurance.
- Carolyn began her career outside of consulting, working for Goldman Sachs in prime brokerage and operations.
Carolyn is a graduate of Bucknell University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She also holds an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
