Sergio Delgadillo is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Mexico City office, leading the firm’s Leadership Advisory Services efforts across Colombia and Mexico.

Deep human resources expertise

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Sergio worked for TalentWise, a firm specialized in HR consulting. He gained experience in several industries as a founder and managing partner for 10 years. He worked for clients in a broad range of leadership areas, including: alignment of HR and corporate strategy, organizational design, compensation and rewards, talent management, team effectiveness, performance management, HR role redefinition and other facets of strategic HR solutions. His clients ranged from pharmaceutical giants to financial services and insurance organizations.
  • Before this, Sergio led the consulting department at Towers Perrin Mexico, operating as director of the executive compensation and rewards and performance management practices. Prior to joining Towers Perrin, Sergio worked as the HR director for Oracle in Mexico and also spent seven years with Motorola, initially as an HR Director for the Mexico City office.
  • Sergio has also worked for Cemex, Grupo Posadas and Ford Motor Co., as well as Hewitt Associates.

Sergio received a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a master’s in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. He also attended several specialized courses and seminars on strategy and human resources both in Mexico and the United States. Sergio is a recognized speaker on HR tactics and has appeared at numerous forums, in addition to being a frequent lecturer for institutions such as UIA and ITESM.
