Based in Chicago, Kathy Schnure is a consultant with Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services group. She works with clients across industries on talent assessment, leadership development, top team effectiveness, and organizational culture assessment and change.

Extensive search and research experience

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Kathy worked in the leadership assessment practice of another multinational leadership advisory firm and the organizational development team at NCR Corp, both during her time in graduate school.
  • Prior to attending graduate school, Kathy spent several years at another multinational search and assessment firm. There, she worked in the financial officers practice then the executive assessment practice, executing searches for a wide variety of clients.
  • Kathy’s graduate research focused on toxic leadership and narcissism in the workplace, and her work on the subject has been featured on NPR and in Industrial Engineer magazine. She has presented her research at several professional conferences, including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Science.

Kathy received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Georgia Tech, and earned a B.A. cum laude in Psychology and Political Science from Bucknell University.
