Based in Amsterdam, Chris leads Spencer Stuart’s Consumer Practice in The Netherlands. He has lived and worked in multiple countries around the world, and he brings his international experience to clients as a member of the firm’s global Consumer, Marketing & Sales Officer, Supply Chain and Digital practices for the EMEA region.
A former senior executive in the international beverages industry, Chris brings a wealth of multinational experience and a deep understanding of FMCG in the areas of marketing, sales and general management. Chris also possesses firsthand perspectives on local, regional and global management, governance dynamics and leadership requirements. Chris’ work spans CEO succession, C-level and non-executive director searches, and other leadership advisory assignments for clients ranging from global, regional and local companies, family businesses and private equity firms.

Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Chris built an international career with Heineken, the leading global beer company, where he held a variety of senior roles in marketing, sales and general management on local, regional and global levels. He has lived in The Netherlands, Curacao, Taiwan and Puerto Rico.
Chris earned a master’s degree in business administration from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
