With more than a decade of experience in executive search, Ben works across industries, advising organizations at critical inflection points, including transformational CFO hires, leadership team build outs and successor appointments within the finance function.
Finance leadership in complex global organizations
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Ben spent seven years at a major international search firm as a consultant in their financial officer practice, where he placed senior finance leaders including Chief Financial Officer and other finance leadership positions spanning investor relations, FP&A, treasury, tax and accounting.
- Prior to his career in executive search, Ben was an internal strategy consultant at Target Corporation during the company’s transformation to a tech-driven omnichannel retailer.
- Ben began his career as aide to the White House Chief of Staff during the George W. Bush administration.
Ben earned an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in political science from Lafayette College.
