Aiden is a core member of Spencer Stuart’s Legal, Compliance & Government Affairs Practice and co-leads the firm’s Canada initiatives for the practice. He advises clients on legal and compliance leadership transitions, succession planning and executive searches across multiple industries, including highly regulated and fast-changing environments, often at moments of growth, transformation, disruption or heightened scrutiny. Aiden is known for his intellectual rigor, speed of execution and ability to quickly develop a nuanced understanding of clients’ businesses and the commercial forces shaping their leadership needs.
Former attorney with extensive legal and compliance expertise
- Aiden has led chief legal officer, general counsel, chief compliance officer and other senior-level searches across North America for both publicly traded and sponsor-backed companies, as well as family-owned and founder-led platforms.
- Aiden has successfully recruited chief legal officers, general counsel and chief compliance officers across a wide range of financial services organizations, including global financial institutions, regional banks, alternative asset managers, insurance companies and fintech platforms.
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Aiden practiced corporate and commercial law at an international law firm, with a specialization in pension matters.
Aiden earned his law degrees from McGill University and the University of Toronto, and his undergraduate degree in political science from Concordia University.
