Caroline Bell is a member of the firm’s Board Practice, applying her expertise in board director recruitment and advisory services for clients internationally. She previously led the firm’s Leadership Advisory Services team in the UK for 5 years. Specialising in the application of psychometrics to assessment, Caroline helps organisations gain deeper understanding of individual and team strengths and areas for growth, to ensure that clients have the right people in the right roles to achieve their goals. She helps companies gain greater insight into skills, motivations and leadership potential, providing guidance on how to best develop talent.
Psychologist with focus on assessment and development of individuals, teams and organisations
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Caroline spent three years in the leadership strategy services practice of another leading search firm. She focused on CEO succession and CEO transitions, and led the development of new assessment methodologies.
- Previously, Caroline worked as a consultant psychologist with OPP. She assessed both individual executives and teams to help improve organisational effectiveness. She also served as vice president of talent selection with Bank of America.
- Earlier in her career, Caroline worked as an occupational psychologist and as a learning and development consultant with an international healthcare group.
Caroline earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Glasgow and a master’s degree in occupational psychology from London Guildhall University. She is a chartered occupational psychologist and is an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society.
